Bolster Your Child is introducing Child Support Contingency Planning-a proactive approach designed to encourage financial preparedness, provide aid or assistance in cases of missed child support payments associated with qualifying circumstances, and connect families with resources that can help parents and children move forward.

Bolster was created around a question that is surprisingly simple; what happen to a child when a parent who wants to pay child support suddenly can’t?
Our vision is bigger than helping with a missed payment. We want to work alongside parents, professionals, community organizations and eventually public agencies to help reduce preventable child support arrears, support healthier co-parenting and give families a better chance to recover when life changes unexpectedly.
At the end of the day. Bolster’s mission is about the child-and helping make sure an unexpected setback in a parent’s life doesn’t become an unexpected setback in theirs.”
